One of the Northern Quarter's original warehouse conversions and still one of the best, The Tobacco Factory really helped to kick-start this area's regeneration. Behind the sturdy Art Deco facade lies a collection of large loft apartments with high ceilings, huge windows and some of the most generously-sized living sizes in Manchester. Many developments claim to be 'loft style' but very few are this authentic. The north and west facing apartments have pleasant views across the adjacent Angel Meadows (one of the few green spaces in the city centre) whilst the others have quiet urban views across the narrow surrounding streets. We really like this peaceful corner of the Northern Quarter, the bars and shops are within easy reach, yet it doesn't suffer from the noisy 3am drunks!
