Greenquarter Set For Completion Finally With Fit Out Of Cypress Place

Date Published 02 April 2012

Anyone who has had any involvement in the Manchester property market over the past few years can appreciate what a success the Greenquarter has been!

Crosby Lend Lease took a once derelict waste land and transformed it into what is now a self-contained urban oasis, combining cutting edge studio, one and two bedroomed apartments, with top spec business accommodation, a luxury hotel and on site retail and leisure facilities. The excellent landscaped gardens, tree-lined walkways and water features make it hard to believe the fantastic location only minutes walk away from the heart of Manchester City Centre's main shopping and night life areas.

2004 - 2009 saw the Greenquarter boom, with thousands of tenants flocking to be the first to live in these high spec apartments with designer kitchens and bathrooms, each new building raising the standards on the one before. Unfortunately 2009 brought the economic downturn and the slump in the property market, forcing Crosby to pull out part way through the seventh apartment building, Cypress Place. Although the shell was complete, without the banks lending, the building has stood unfitted, until now!

All the staff at We Let Properties have witnessed the growth of the Greenquarter first hand so we're delighted that the builders are back on site and fitting out the kitchens and bathrooms as I type!

With companies like ITV following the lead of the BBC and RBS moving their main sites up to Manchester we're sure these apartments will fill up very soon so don't miss out, register your interest now!
