Squeezed into a tight plot in the middle of Shudehill, The Works is right next to the Print Works and directly opposite the Arndale Centre, so you`ll struggle to find a more centrally-located block! This contemporary red-brick development has some really nice design touches, from the full-height windows to the steel balconies and the sharp angled elevations. The kitchens and bathrooms are well-fitted and the higher floors have fantastic terraces. But it`s not all good; the rooms aren`t too generous and the building is surrounded by bars and nightclubs so it can be quite lively in the early hours of the morning. But we really like it and this tall 9-storey block has some of the best-value apartments in the city centre
